Simon Gibson serves on Abbotsford City Council. He previously served on Council for three decades, and returned after two terms representing this area as a Member of the Legislative Assembly.
Before and between his time in public office, Simon taught at the University of the Fraser Valley and Trinity Western University in business, communications and leadership.

Beyond the council chamber
Simon and his wife have two daughters and three grandsons.
He runs regularly and also enjoys gourmet cooking, travel, creative writing, reading, long distance running, cycling, and automobile literature.
